Open access to regional geoid models: the International Service for the Geoid

Abstract. The International Service for the Geoid (ISG, https://www.isgeoid.polimi.it/, last access: 31 March 2021) provides free access to a dedicated and comprehensive repository of geoid models through its website. In archive, both latest releases most important well-known models, as well less recent or known ones, are freely available, giving users wide range possible applications perform analyses on evolution computation research field. ISG is an official service Association Geodesy (IAG), under umbrella Gravity Field (IGFS). Its main tasks collecting, analysing, redistributing local, regional, continental providing technical support people involved in geoid-related topics educational purposes. framework activities, performs taking advantage archive organizes seminars specific training courses determination, supporting students researchers geodesy distributing material use common algorithms estimation.
